WellStop is a community based, non-profit making organisation that is independent of government agencies. It has been operating since 1993 and is based on successful principles developed in New Zealand and other countries. The programme is set up to provide treatment for men and adolescents who have been sexually abusive and who are ready to do something about stopping their abusive behaviour
Offers help to STOP further sexual abuse using its 3 main aims
To provide people who have sexually abused with the skills to stop offending.
To ensure the safety of the child victims. The safety of victims is paramount in all our work.
To support the families of those who abuse, to help them deal with the effects of the abusive behaviour and to make informed choices.
